Hi there!
Anyone found any nice but cheap baby sleepsuits. We found 3 for £5 in Wilkinsons but then went to tkmaxx and although they were so so so so much nicer, they were £9ish each. So we went back to Wilkinsons but having held the TKMaxx ones, the Wilkinson ones felt cheap and nasty.
Anyone know where we can buy decent ones that are cheap?
I have a craving for baby clothes!!!
P.S. Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place - please don't shout at me. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and will cry!

It's a long time since I've bought any for my own children but have bought some as gifts for nephew's children. I have bought them from Woolworths and Matalan and from what I understand they were both nice quality for the price. Probably wont compare with the £9 each ones from T K Max (and those are probably luxury ones for that price) but will probably be better than the Wilkinsons ones. Ask in store if you can feel the quality.0

I get mine from the supermarkets or Primark, 3 basic sleep suits from Tesco are £3.75 I think. Once they've been washed they're fine, the baby's only going to be sick or poo on them anyway, so I don't there's not much point spending a fortune on them.0

Hi,
EBay is always a good place to look for all baby clothes. I bought 7 good sleepsuits (named brands) for about £7 including delivery.
Alternatively, Tesco own babygrows are good value.
Bear in mind that baba won't be in the first size for long and there are all those pooey nappies and sickiness

Hi we always get Asda do 3 plain white sleepsuits for £3.75. We've had them for our dd for the first year and they wash really well. We only buy 6 for each age range so they were washed really really often as my dd had reflux. Tesco do really good baby essentials and you get clubcard points, they have vests 7 for £5.
We buy all our dd's clothes from sainsburys, ASDA and tesco, they all wash well.0 -
Tesco, Asda (George), Primark, Woolies (often have on deals and also their basic brand is really good), also charity shops/e-bay sometimes have ones that are brand new or have been worn once or twice.
They are in them for such a short time that it is sensible not to waste money on them.
Good luck with the pregnancy, my DS is 1 already and cannot believe how time flies- I miss all his kicks too

the tesco ones (plain white) at 3 for £3.75 are really good value and good quality they wash really well and don't shrink. We bought them for our newborn and as they grow out of them so fast i don't think theres much point spending a lot on them.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

I always liked the tesco baby sleep suits, they wash well and feel soft against baby's skin.0

and for the cheapest of the lot try freecycle! As people have said babies are in them for such a short time why pay anything when you can get them free!
Having said that I don't think I have paid full price for any clothes yet (& DD is 3 1/2) I always wait until the sales & get hem for the next age up - but make sure you work out the age/season right.
