I thought the coop automatically opened a savings account when you opened a cash minder - at least i seem to recall the girl saying that when we opened ours. May be worth double checking.

Nope they don't open a savings account automatically. I opened my Cashminder a year before I went bankrupt and they never even mentioned it.

If you've had a new statement I would update the charges too.

  • You're braver than me, we were trying to claim ours back before going BR, to try and raise some cash to pay off debts, we were put on hold for ages.
Now we've had to go BR and glad we did, but I personally wouldn't bother claiming them back now as I wouldn't see any benefit from them anyway and if the OR really wants the money off the bank I'm sure they will get it!
