Just read this in the Ts & Cs...- Not available on NatWest savings accounts that have existing standing orders in place as at 4 July 2008.

Hi,
I started to fill out an application for this as I thought it was a great idea.
During the application it asked if I wanted a joint or sole account to which I was going to proceed with a joint account as I am married.
The question that suddenly popped into my head was can I open 2 sole accounts, one for my wife and one for me and benefit from 2 x £50 bonuses?
Has anyone tried this or seen a restriction for doing this? Will they match up that we live at the same address and cancel the applications?
Would really appreciate anyones advice!!!!0 -

On the other hand, when they say "calls may be recorded and monitored", is that an invitation?
'Calls may be recorded' means 'This call is being recorded'Kavanne

Both my wife and I have applied and been accepted. The SO mandates are even out of the same external joint account.0 -
I just did the same as well for myself and my husband and we were accepted so no reason why it should not work for you!0

So long as you did not complete the application that you started, otherwise you can only get one incentive for the joint account.

as far as i can see there is no penalty to the £50 cashback for withdrawing your money out of the e-saver during the 12months, so couldnt you set up the standing order of £100 and just transfer the money back out again to a better savings account, and still collect your £50 after 12months?[/quote]
Just 1 problem . try as i might I can't find a URL where I can sign up to the acount. Plenty of information but no actual place to sign on the dotted line ... aaggghh0 -
I have received the letter with the sort code and account number, but how do you access the account online?0
