Thought message had to be a minimum of 10 characters.
It does. Let you into a little secret...you can type in white as well as black. ;)
  • I've sent them the following question using their 'feedback form' (for your benefit ;))...
What feedback form? I'm b'ggered if I can find one!
"I'd" is an abbreviation of 'I would'. Don't you mean 'I will'?
No good him keeping it, unless his name is Mr xxxxxxx - I think he was suggesting you should, as it's addressed to you.
BLF - Can u send another please asking how non NatWest customers can move funds out of the e-saver, pointing out that we seem unable to set up a payee ourselves and we are reluctant to phone NatWest CS due to not being confident of being given the correct answer.
YB - I'm not currently a NatWest customer but I'm looking for a savings account for regular savings each month from salary.
reworded: "I'm not currently a NatWest customer ... but I can't seem to set up an external payment from the account I don't yet have"

God, way too much quoting going on here :D
You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...

I'd just phone them and set up a payee - you don't have to give an indication as to how often you use that payee - it's fair to say you would want to withdraw money sometime.

Thanks! I wondered if that might be it

(sorry - couldn't resist - yes, I realised that; I was saying there was no point in YOU keeping the proof because YOU weren't called mr xxxxxx - I was just being ironic, sorry)

I went on Nat West website and filled in the application for an e-savings account to be funded by a standing order from an external account. All ok. Later I started to worry about the terms and conditions and that I was not meeting them. Next morning I rang the freephone number and spoke to a very helpful young lady. She told me that I could open an e-savings account BUT in order to qualify for the £50 the standing order had to come from a Nat West account. I am now in the process of opening a current account. She said that the Nat West standing order was so that they could tie up with the £50 offer. Hope this helps anyone in doubt.
  • I have £1500 in my isa, surely I would be better off just putting away £100 every month into my existing isa?. You would then get better interest, no?

Did she put you on hold or check with a manager at all? Where does it say this in the T&Cs?
