The claim will be found in your favour upon the condition of the item being returned via trackable means to the seller. So far the item has been dispatched, but it has not been received, therefore the claim is not complete.

Once the item is showing delivered, then the refund can be obtained.

Crazy idea... but why not go into this one with an open mind?
Email the seller: The RM site shows that they have left a card and are waiting for you to collect the item. Put it in the dispute as well.

the reason why i know the seller is a liar is from the item i received and messages received from him. what do u think if u received a refurbished n95 when you bought a n95 8G like new? the seller's feedback showed that his several items were not as described.

I have not thought he would send me a refurbished n95 common version while the item was advertised as a n95 8g as new(used on month). it is my fault that i should not buy from him

i had to return a mobile to a buyer due to a paypal dispute, royal mail attempted delivery, seller had been made aware that royal mail had attempted delivery but refused to collect item. i phoned paypal and told them, they refunded me from the sellers account. the seller soon collected the phone from royal mail!
  • Go to 'My Messages' and send the seller a message explaining that Royal Mail has tried to deliver the item and have left a card, if he doesn't contact Royal Mail within 7 days of the day the card was left they will return the item to you, if it is special delivery and 2 weeks if it is standard recorded, he may well be a seasoned con artist and will no doubt know the system a little too well.

On the 6th day after the card was left contact Royal Mail and pretend you are the seller to see if re-delivery has been arranged, it not try and arrange it for a Saturday, you may catch the seller off guard and they might end up accepting and signing for your phone.

When communicating with the seller or PayPal avoid calling the buyer a liar or other inflammatory language, no matter how much you are annoyed, people are less inclined to take you seriously when you appear to rant, you want PayPal to take your side but you don't want to give them the impression you are an unreasonable person that may be partly to blame for this situation.

Under no circumstances should you give the buyer the tracking number, they have no right to it, no matter how much they may protest, Royal Mail on occasion deliver secure items and neglect to get a signature or put it on their website, you don't want the buyer to get a heads up on this if the item does get delivered but has no tracking, as he can use this to his advantage.
