You know you're too stingy when ..... you lose one earring so just wear the one for a few days cause you're sure you've got one the same ( ie- just one, not a pair) Then when you do find it, its not the same size, but you just make sure that you talk to people with your head to one side so they'll never notice!0

Before the kids could read, if we ever came across one of those ride-on toys they have outside supermarkets etc, and they wanted a go. I used to point to the notice regarding the price, and say it said it was broken, and being repaired next week!!
Only works of course if no one is already on it!!:j0 -

Oooooh I really hate that . I went out for a "girly" night years ago when I was pregnant with my first. I only knew two of the people there. One of them was pregnant too and we were both suffering from morning sickness. We ordered something very cheap (I only had R50 - this was in Swaziland) and didn't drink anything except water. My meal should have come to R20 at the most. Some of the women had to leave early so settled their bills on the way out. The rest of it was split between the rest of us, so we ended up subsidising all the others expensive meals and alcohol. I'm still fuming about it over 12 years later :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I do what someone else does and wash out my freezer bags and hang them on the line.0 -
You lose 4 1/2 st (like me!!!:j), drop 4 dress sizes but still refuse to even buy new pants because the old one might be like sacks on you but they're not falling down when you run up the stairs...yet!:p1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110

If theres several of the same course on that works sending you on you choose the one with provided lunch & take tubs to collect the left overs (Theres always loads), has to be done out of the providers line of sight normally as they dont want to be blamed for food poisoning etc.
You walk the 20 minute, up hill journey home, with a push chair heavily laiden with bags full of shopping, both under it & hanging on the handels, with a back pack on (& of course with a baby in, I'm not that stingey.....yet!) so you dont have to pay £5 for a black cab. It also saves on going to the gym!You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
