You didn't read it properly, there is no redemtion hassle, it's an AUTO cashback.
What are companies like with autocashbacks. Are they more reliable? Can anyone relate their experiences with p4u and autocashback deals?

You may wish to refer to this (incredibly recent) thread:

  • I take it M2YD and Phones4u have similar cashback T&C? Still 60 days to claim which is much better than my previous e2save claim window.

Can someone tell me if M2YD makes it mroe difficult to claim cashback than phones4u?

Providing you follow the ground rules (see mobilejunkies thread) and are on the ball, you should be able to extract cashback with relative ease. Unless of course, Phones4U go bust :o

M2YD's process is very straightforward. And people taking legal action has made them quite quick now with cashbacks.

I am same position as RAWy.

cashback has been very good on claims 2 and 3. Claim 1 was a hassle, but i get check in less than 2 weeks with the next claim form. They also permit the downloadable bills from Vodafone. Very hard to get this one wrong . Esp use memotome to get email reminders http://www.memotome.com/

    I just ordered this phone:-

    click

    Through Quidco with £55 cashback

OK so I have to pay £40 a month for the next 12 months and remember to cancel the direct debit for the insurance (@£5.99 a month), so I will pay out £480, provided my cashback gets paid out, it's currently tracking, and I don't forget to claim my 4 cheques for £100 in 6,8,10 and 12 months time I am paying £25 with a free phone for the year.

700 minutes a month (OK so I will never use anywhere near this...) works out at .3p a minute not accounting for the 3000 texts over the year and cost of the phone itself.

I don't understand how a company can make this offer - do half the people who take it up not bother to get their cashback? My brain hurts!
comping since august 2007, wins so far.....none! :rotfl:

Most likely, it's probably the same people on the e2save forum. Some not all do not read the T&C properly and assume what the customer services says is correct. As we head into the credit crunch, firms such as these are 'tighten' their cashback T&C.

I took out the same contract. I wonder if i mention that I've just taken out a £40/month tariff to the vodafone retention team, would they give me a better deal for my old contract?

If you really knew what you were doing you could have done much better than that. Since you don't maybe you should be very wary and do a lot more research than you obviously have. It's all on here in droves.
