Thanks a lot for this, Buffy - I'd thought this pink one looked really nice, but it sold out really quickly round me, so it has been on my "Wish List" - I'll cross it off now! The reduced palettes sound fab tho!
    Thanks

Oh no, don't cross it off just because of what I said...

Well I really liked mine. Indeed I bought another one today on clearance.

There you go Clare, another point of view :)

I was really surprised because when I tested it on my hand (several times before I actually bought it :D) it lasted really well and needed scrubbing off! Maybe I got a duff one, or I licked it off without realising! I really wanted it too!

I was asking because I thought if I found another one in clearance I'd buy it to give it another whirl!

Several people get on differently with different products - I adore the Dreamlash mascara for example and have no problems with it, but I know there are others who have had reactions to it.

SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) Free toothpastes and mouthwashes are brill for reducing them, you may find some at boots, but the only one i can recommend is any from the green people http://www.greenpeople.co.uk/organic-dental-products.aspx HTH

If anyone finds any sls-free toothpaste/mouthwash at Boots, please let me know. My husband gets mouth ulcers and I'd like to find something for him. :)

And found this with info on how to treat them; it's from a U.S. Web site, so you may have to adjust some of the brand names it suggests:

    How are canker sores treated?

Canker sores usually go away without any treatment. For pain relief, you can try taking ibuprofen (brand name: Advil) or acetaminophen (brand name: Tylenol) -- Note: this is the same as paracetamol. Other medicines, such as Anbesol, Orajel, Orabase and Zilactin-B, might keep your canker sores from becoming irritated by eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. These medicines are applied directly on the sore.

You can also mix equal amounts of Milk of Magnesia and Benadryl Allergy liquid. After it's mixed, you can swish a teaspoonful in your mouth for about 1 minute and then spit it out. If you do this every 4 to 6 hours, your canker sores may hurt less.

Some people think that sucking on zinc lozenges, taking vitamin C or vitamin B complex, using a sage-and-chamomile mouthwash or taking a lysine supplement helps their canker sores heal faster.

    And on prevention:

What can I do to prevent canker sores?

Unfortunately, doctors don't know of anything that prevents canker sores from forming. However, using a toothpaste that does not contain SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) or other irritating ingredients, avoiding chewing gum, hard, crunchy or spicy foods may help reduce mouth irritation. Brushing your teeth after meals, using a soft toothbrush and flossing every day will also keep your mouth free of food that might cause a canker sore. If you get canker sores often, or if they're very painful, talk to your family doctor.
  • after watching a scary programme about sodium lauryl sulphite , i went to boots and the only one i could find that didnt have it ,was pearl drops hollywood smile, i found it a good toothpaste too, im back on normal pearl drops now but think i will get some more soon.

  • I've always suffered terribly from mouth ulcers and the only thing that's ever worked is taking vitamin B, which a locum dentist recommended to me a while ago. Since I started taking it I've hardly had any ulcers, it's been amazing. I take Seven Seas one-a-day Vitamin B Complex - it's in a pink bottle and is always on 3 for 2 in Boots. Hope this helps people.

I have managed to get four coupons from the Sun, but unfortunately two of them are the same date (yesterday's), since I was on holiday until Tuesday night. Does it say anywhere that the coupons need to be all different numbers? I couldn't see that it did.
Or does anyone have a token from Sat-Mon that they'd swap for my Friday token?

Oh, just realised I needed a voucher from Wednesday to attach them to... I don't have that :( Does anyone have a spare?

Have you thought to pop along to a paper recycle centre to grab a Sun for the voucher. Scavanging I know but save the thought just incase.

I HOPE I will not regret missing this promo.....just I really need to make more sensible purchases due to space if nothing else.
