hi all, we went yesterday DD's & I and were there ages! not many freebies but learnt last time to book in early for everything so went straight to M2 to book a boat experience for 2pm- had to go sailing as under 16's are not allowed on the thundercats. overall not as many exhibitors as previous years. but of those that were there the hummer & lotus have the most friendly people. Hummer unlocked a car so DD could get in it. had to lock them up because people kept stealing bits off them:eek: land rover experience was excellent fun, again went there early before it got to busy. disapointed with the go-karts £10 for 8 mins!!!
then came my annoyed moment. went to the supercars display DD1 wanted to see the bugatti Veyron. and was told it was upstairs in the VIP section.£100-£200 per ticket:eek: well a lot of disapointed people around including 2 police officers. well we got chatting to them and sometime later bumped into them again. they said that we may be able to get the security to take dd's up to see the car. asked security man who looked us up & down and we were told "people like us were not allowed in the VIP section!!!" just because we were dressed casually dosn't mean we are not worthy of VIP! made my blood boil- wonder if they would let Amy Whinehouse in????
Any way that was my only annoyance for the day- says more about the security mans attitude than ours.

Hi we went on Sunday using free tickets which worked a treat - thanks.

Just thought I'd tell you a few things we found. Vauxhall have a drivers lounge upstairs, just ask one of the guys on the stall if you can't find it, if you show your Vauxhall key you have access to the lounge which is air conditioned (wonderful on Sunday in 30 degree heat) and free tea, coffee, juice, fizzy drinks and squash for the kids plus a few nibbles - this was a great find for us with 4 kids, saved us loads - just remember to take you Vauxhall key with you.

Also (very smug) managed to get SKY+ for £49 with FREE installation. So just paid £49 and getting it installed next Monday. (Did have to accept Sky World at £45 for the first month, but salesman very happily told us to try Sky World to see what we like then cancel everything if we want and just pay the basic £16 for the rest of the time). Very happy as we had someone knock on door saying this offer was no longer available and we would have to pay £75 for Sky+ and a discounted £60 intallation. Huh nice try, glad we refused.

Hope this is useful to someone, glad to be able to post something which may help someone at last!
This site rocks and has saved me loads -
thanks to all those that post on the forums and have saved me money

Great find! OH drives an Opel Manta (Opel same as Vauxhall) but his car key doesn't say anything about car make on it so we will bring car documents. LOL, free nibbles are just too good to pass up!

    Went on Monday

Had nice drink in the Honda lounge, not in the Vauxhall lounge.

Ford were giving away lollies and drinks. Very welcome in the heat.

    Not many other freebies.

No VW or Audi there either

chevrolet also have a lovely lounge with free ice creams & drinks. didn't see the Honda lounge but have been in the SAAB & offered the vauxhall one but it looked abit pretentious with all the security.
