We went yesterday - had a great time.
Freebies to look out for when you are there are the free ice lollies from the Ford area, just behind the new Fiestas in lime and blackcurrant - same colour as the Fiestas themselves and the free glasses of squash again from Ford, but from the central display desk, again lime and blackcurrant. These are not available during the Ford presentations, but unlimited the rest of the time. And the free bumper car rides from in the Zurich area.
Top Gear magazine and bag of 'stuff' £1 instead of usual £3.95 from the Top Gear stand0 -

We went today and had a great time - it's worth buying a ticket for the Honda Dreamscape show (£5 from the booths as you go in or from roaming ticketsellers around the outside displays). That show was very entertaining.
Take your driving licence if you want to test drive cars. We didn't, but were still able to have a go at the following:
We queued for some time for the Mazda Zoom-Zoom challenge (free) but that was good fun. (Mazda phone up DVLA with your permission to check that you have a licence). You drive an MX-5 and a Mazda 2 round a small circuit. Your time is taken and you are scored on your driving; you get a baseball cap for taking part.
We also drove a Landrover (with instructor's guidance) on a terrapod off-road course. (Also free) You could pay £10 for a Westfield Drifting Experience (you are driven by a professional with lots of squealing brakes and revving plus burning rubber smells!)
There seemed to be activities for children as well - a Children's Drivers School was one we spotted.
Outside there were several food outlets that seemed OK for value - huge roast beef or pork baguettes for around £5-6.
Inside there were many static displays and small sales kiosks to interest you - and various freebies to be had - eg calico bags, stress balls, ice lollies, etc.
If you wanted to extend your day you could buy tickets to the Music Festival - a different group each evening - Status Quo tonight.
The only real downside to the day was the amount of people stuffed onto the Tube and DLR in the heat - we got a bus instead of the DLR and that was much better (you can use your Travelcard for that)0 -
also went yesterday and had a great time, got there dead on 10am.. good time to go on dodgems etc as it was very quiet.. ds had 4 goes one after the other with no queuing
loads of freebies, ford lollies and drinks as mentioned,
icepops from hyundai stand,
sunvisors from DVLA,
highways agency stand had airfresheners, reflectors, book with maps, ds got given a free game cd, also £1 coin things for trolleys etc
chevrolet, music CD
ssangyong,, bag, pens and cap
vauxhall, bag
peugeot..bluetooth game and ringtone to phone, also upstairs was free cold water
nissan, bluetooth wallpapers and photos (think that was what it was)
oh and we bought a program for £3 and in bag was program, fiction book, cap, drink, deodorant and a couple of samples
as we didnt pay for the tickets and looking at all the things we got i reckon we are in profit lol even taking into account petrol and parking

Was hoping you would post here again Holey!
I did the same as you and got free tickets for OH yesterday, changing the number in the url, BUT when we printed them out, we noticed that they said weekdays only, whereas the others said any day printed on them.
Just letting you know incase you were going to go today or tomorrow, but if you're not, ignore me!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
