Also, i love eating out and always make sure i go to places during the week which have '2 meals for £9' or such like, and i always drink blackcurrant cordial with water out and about (when not drinking of course) as it is usually only 30p! At frist my boyfriend of 3 yrs was embarased to order this for me, but now he is proud to as it is so cheap and really hydrating! This means a lovely meal out with my fabulous boyfriend only costs me £4.80 and is a cheap treat.

Buy christmas wrapping paper in the sales and make sure that it is not too Christmassy - ie stars gold and silver but no holly or Father Christmases. That way you can use it as wrapping paper for any occasion. Giant rolls of brown paper with coloured ribbon or twine can llok very eco/retro/stylish - or they can when my artistic daughter has finished with them. We have done this for about 20 years now, and any relatives and friends always comment on how beautifully wrapped presents are and how much trouble (and expense) we must have gone too!Debt September 2020 BIG FAT ZERO!

For the person who recommended grating block cheese to make it last longer - ready grated cheese is about £4 a kg in Tesco, cheaper than any block cheese they sell (and I think it tastes better than their value mild cheese, and it's vegetarian whereas their value mild cheese isn't)

We eat a lot of cheese(big family, some of us are veggie) and I find a large block of cheese is considered to be just a few slices by some in our house -who shall remain nameless! So when I unpack the shopping I grate the cheese into a plastic container and it lasts much longer.
I know it costs more but I buy bags of grated cheese from Aldi and then FREEZE them. Just sprinkle the amount you need on the meal and it defrosts in minutes.0 -
If you're shopping in La Senza or Lush in the first place, how can you be fussed about saving money in the first place! Gah - Primark and Savers is how you save your cash, and your clothes smell nice once they've been washed!0

at Lush they use hardly any packaging. at least you know that what you are paying is for real ingredients, made in the UK, not loads of plastic and flying it in from China.0
