Argos £10 voucher for £100 spend - when next?

In stores we only know when the point of sale comes in, and it's usually couried in - probably for reasons of competition, it's kept secret and not posted on the intranet etc. The second we do it, Tesco does it and so does Currys.
It does seem to regularly get posted on this forum about a week before the offer starts though always by the same person. It's most likely kept secret to stop rivals launching their own offer at the same time.0 -
Ordered (online) a ds with this promo back in dec, was sent a voucher code, emailed cust. servs. to say i'd prefer a gift card they said ok just had to allow 14 days for it to turn up, i thought brilliant. contacted them again mid jan to say it hadn't turned up, they replied with a sorry, gift card will be sent out, allow 14 days, blah, blah. Still haven't received card so emailed today, they responded quickly - they have checked system, definately been sent out - do i want them to investigate further? well, duh if i wasn't bothered i wouldn't of contacted them in the first place. Pretty peeved cos i could of got the ds cheaper elsewhere except for this promo.I have to say buyer beware, not going to order online with this promo again.0

I am planning on buying a bed from Argos, so I'm wondering would it be wise to hang on a short while in case the promo returns for Easter.
Regarding above posts concerning ordering large items with home delivery and getting voucher codes in form of a email, is that because you ordered on line. My bed is in catalogue and so I assume I am able to order in the store, pay by credit card and receive vouchers then, even though my item is going to be delivered.0 -
Yes, you are correct. Everything in the catalogue can be ordered in store, even home delivery only items.
If you would rather have a gift voucher to use in store then you have to order in store. If you order online you will be issued an online order code for the next time you shop online.0 -

I was thinking about this only today as I'm after a sideboard which is a tad expensive. Anyone know if the offer is coming soon? The new catalogue is out so I thought now would be the time.0 -
I think around easter the offer will be back on, it's usually around then. I'm sure it'll get posted a few days before. My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

Is this only £10 on £100 spend or are there vouchers usually available for smaller spends e.g. £50?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

£5 voucher for a £50 spend, but that's as low as it goes.Argos Staff Member.
I'll gladly help with any queries - but if you have any problems and need to get some real guidance, go back to your local store or contact customer services (argos.co.uk).
