The Christmas Gift Guide comes out on Wed 15th Oct. There's a fair chance the voucher offer will start then too.

Hello, I'm new to this Argos gift card thing. Plan to buy something from Argos today. On the website T&C, it says "This offer is not available with the purchase of Argos gift cards."
Does this mean that I cannot buy a £100 voucher and get another £10 voucher free? i.e. I must actually buy £100 worth of goods instead.0 -
Yes. There was a previous loophole where people could buy £100 of gift vouchers, get a £10 free gift voucher. Then buy a £100 item with the £100 GV they just bought and get another £10 gift voucher meaning they would get £20 of gift vouchers in total. So, people could exploit this to get twice as many gift vouchers as the offer was intended for.0

Hi All
I ordered a tumble dryer from Argos last night which cost over £100. It wasn't possible to pick it up in store so I had to select home delivery. Although I am still got a £10 gift voucher for spending over £100, rather than this coming in the form of a card which can be spent instore it came as a code within my order confirmation email.
The downside of this is it can only be used on items that can be paid for on the Argos website (i.e. it has to be something I order for home delivery) Therefore my £10 gift voucher is only really going to be worth £4.05 because home delivery costs £5.95 regardless of how small the item is you buy.
I suppose this wouldn't be so bad if I had another large purchase to make but as I'm only likely to be needing to buy something small which I'd have been able to collect in store it feels like a bit of a swiz.
Is there any way round this to enable me to use the full £10 on goods rather than £5.95 of it being eaten up by the home delivery charge?
Hope I'm making sense!0 -
was there an answer to the last post anyone ?0

I've had a few emails offering me free delivery. Perhaps the two offers can be combined somehow?0
