Argos £10 voucher for £100 spend - when next?

Answer to the post above would be; online £10 vouchers are online only. And you are recieving a voucher worth £10, not £4.05; because you can look at it in two ways, as either having £10 off the price of the item and then paying your normal delivery as you would have to in the first place regardless, or saving £4.05 on the item and having free delivery. Either way you're making a saving so don't moan! :P

whenever I have used a £10 voucher from their deal it doesn't ever deduct it from the postage costs. so even if I bought something for a fiver and used a £10 voucher I would still have to pay the postage.

Well Sam I think it was acceptable criticism. I also have a £10 off code not a voucher and am annoyed! If, with my previous order, I reserved online and collected in store I would have received a paper voucher and a full£10 off a future purchase. However in store collection wasn't an option offered so the discount code means only £4.05 off as the order has to be delivered! Strictly legal but misleading IMO.

As an aside my discount code isn't being accepted so I have e mailed customer services asking them to investigate.

My online voucher code wouldn't work either. I phoned them up and they said they had experienced a lot of these codes not working and will send me out a voucher to use in store instead.

I was waiting until my voucher arrived before posting again however, I fired off an e mail and they also responded by telling me they would send a voucher to use in store. A result and well done to Argos customer services.

In stores we only know when the point of sale comes in, and it's usually couried in - probably for reasons of competition, it's kept secret and not posted on the intranet etc. The second we do it, Tesco does it and so does Currys. So we only know when we get it all sent it!

Best guess now would be probably Easter weekend, but it's an absolute guess. It's usually based around holiday weekends.
