Bun, I completely agree with BB. I'd rather someone gives £2 they can afford... rather than £20 that'll make them worse off. It's not a contest to see who gives the most. Some can afford more than others but each donation is as special as the last because it means that A) You're helping cancer research and B) You're supporting me which means more than you can ever imagine. :)

    I agree Tig.
    BB is very wise. x

Not wise - just been around the block and put my foot in it and made every possible f^ck up, fallen down every pothole (must have sat nav to find them) - and still do; preaching is easier than practising you can justify all your mistakes and decisions to yourself and it's easier to put other peoples lives in black in white because they don't have the little special cases that your own does.... the brave bit is when you let other people scrutinise your values and decisions... not quite that brave yet myself (but maybe just maybe - it's certainly makes me reassess my priorities and get out my own ar5e hanging around here).... it's easy for Bill Gates to be generous he has a computerised house and servants (not that I'm jealous  ) already.... putting a 5 quid in a collection box when it means you have to eat beans or walk rather than catch the bus means more in my opinion.... like the tax 10% rate cost some people 4 pounds a week, it was the fact it was the group of people who's disposable income was near to 0 to start with on minimum wage that was the killer.

Well, the trips down the potholes have obviously knocked a bit of sense into your head, lol!

Not the paw - not the paw  - stop at the wrist - you never know what you may want to do in the future and some people have ideas about tattoos, if you can't cover it up you never have the option to do so whereas keeping the option to show or not to show gives you *control* to control how people perceive you and when... if someone would have rejected you for a job but takes you on then sees the tattoo it's more likely to change their preconceptions than if they never get beyond the tatt (I move in conservative circles though and have old-fashioned ideas)

My old office has silverfish that fall out the polystyrene tiles into your hair - I had to keep a piece of paper over my open coffee cup...
