Which to be fair I was totally shocked at. At the 4km mark I was set to do it in under 30 but it all went a bit pear shaped with me nearly breaking down and hitting a huge wall... I had to walk about 4 times in 4-5km alone...
But still... I did it. Very very very pleased.
WELL DONE SAR:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Sar,
I have donated a small amount-sorry it's not more...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Are you going to keep up the running? Are you doing another race.
You should do!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Way I see it - is Sarah has her attitude thanks to her mum's good work, that's why she's working her bum off making a better life for her little family. If you gave more than you could afford whilst in debt yourself you'd be undermining her and her mum's principles and a small donation when you have a low income, debts and have had the expense of starting over has cost you a lot more than most so was *more* generous as you have to watch and feel the small amounts. Besides lots of small amounts is what cancer research needs becuase they add up.0 -
Thank you BB.
I wish I had you around speaking words of wisdom all the time. (anyone else want to break into 'Let it Be' by the Beatles?)
