You've saved the cheapest till last, for me, at least with an Epson RX425. Economy Courier peaking at £4.49 is a bonus.
I thought North Devon couldn't be beaten, then along came Rubber Frog, then UKDVDR, now these. Will do a test order to check quality.

  • I'm having problems with RedHot Bargains at the moment. I've ended up with incorrect cartridges. They are completely the wrong size. I'll let you know how I get on sorting this mess out and how quickly they reply.

If you want genuine Epson cartridges there are 2 outlets in the Channel Islands that offer excellent prices and great service. Also you don't pay VAT on your purchases.

    Have a look at:

    www.mx2.co.uk
    www.7dayshop.com

I and family/friends continue to buy the 99p an Epson compatible cartridge "own brand" from 7dayshop.com - they used to ship InkRite cartridges but not sure who their own brand are sourced from and frankly don't care - they work :)

All our printers are 1-5 years old so either no chipping problems, or with the C46 and T036 T037 cartridges the 7dayshop compatibles have a chip that shows up as 'non-Epson cartridge' and when inserted the Epson printer software asks "do you really want to use it" but just say YES I do want to use a cartridge I put in the printer rather than throw it away - and you're away with really cheap printing.

As 7dayshop charge £3.95 an order for postage I usually save up and place a large group order for self/family/friends, although occasionally 7dayshop do a 'free postage' offer.

Personally would never buy a HP/Lexmark printer because of absence of these 99p clones, and advise friends not to buy the latest Epson printers as their aren't compatible cartridges yet.
  • Apologies if this has already appeared in this thread, but I couldn't face scanning through 22 pages of postings!!

I found https://www.choicestationery.com was exceptional value for my Stylus Color 880 printer - £16.69 for 6 black cartridges (price includes VAT and delivery), and colour ones also excellent.

http://www.ukdvdr.co.uk/shop/home.php Amazingly cheap Compatible Ink cartridges. I've used dozens of them with no problems, on my Epson printer.
Their blank DVD and CD prices are also very competitive and quality is good.
  • The cheapest site that I've found for Epson compatibles and all PC consumables is https://www.ukdvdr.co.uk
They offer next day delivery or it's free.
Check out their cable section as well - USB printer & network cables 99p each (that's just a little cheaper than PC World)
