A1 PC's are doing good deals on original cartridges for the Epson Stylus C64/C66/C84/C86 and CX6400/CX6600 for only £25.50 which i have seen in tescos for £34.00, and the Epson RX420/425 Photo Pack for just £22.99. Both excellent prices for genuine cartridges. Their website is https://www.a1pcs.co.uk0

So I looked on EBay and found this source :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=101335&item=6763591175&rd=1
£7.67 for a full set of compatible carts. for R200/300/RX500 etc. An exceptional price. Anyone used them ? They also have a website at :
https://www.247inkshop.co.uk where the prices are slightly higher but still low and you can use your credit card.
At these prices must be worth a try!!
If these are the ones that come in purple boxes I would give tehm a miss. Firstlly they don't fit the slots properly and so the ink holding box lid will not click shut (you can tape them down mind you) most importantly though both of the black ink cartridges I have bought have failed after a couple of uses. once the printer thinks its empty you have no choice but to throw them away. A great shame really because the ink is first class and they are dirt cheap.0 -

Quote themselves as Epson specialists, I have it second-hand that they've been reliable.Jdubb0 -
Found this site www.lowcostcc.com good for compatible Epson inks you only pay for 4 when you buy five and the prices are good. T050 was 1.30 each but came down to £1.04 when I brought 5.0

Am coming to the end of my first set of cartridges which were supplied with the printer from new.
The cost of new ones is horrendous and I am looking to purchase compatibles.
However, is there anyone out there who has the SAME printer as mine, and who has been purchasing compatibles WITHOUT any problems whatsoever over a period of time?
If so, can you please recommend where you purchased your compatibles. There are so many places to buy compatibles and I don't want to get stung, or to find that the ink clogs my new printer.
Help please.0 -
I tried http://www.hornetcs.co.uk
C42 black cartrige was £2.33 (post free), ordered on Thursday afternoon, arrived Friday morning. :T0
