    I've been Money Tipped!
    I can't believe this!

I paid £11 for one colour and one black cartridge in a local shop, compatable for the Epson C62, and just found a flippin set of one black, one colour for under £7 on inkandstuff.co.uk and hardly believing it was true I ordered. I only went and found them cheaper elsewhere online didn't I!? >:(

The moral of the story is read the whole thread before jumping in at the deep end! D'oh! :-[

Hey all Epson users, 7dayshop seem to have reduced the price of all their Epsom compatibles to 1.99 or less!! Currently using their compatibles for my Stylus 790 (uses T007 and T008) and have nearly run out. Last lot I bought from here worked fine but were around 4-5 quid each. I was about to buy some more from Choicestationery (v. good deals here too) but by chance checked out 7dayshop. Have had no problems with them in my printer.

Cheapest place I found for Epson C44UX inks, £2 for black and £3 for colour. Free delivery and pretty quick to!

Just followed a link from Greasy Palm to Cartridge Monkey.

They seem very cheap for Epson cartridges and free delivery.

    Anyone used them?

This is to all you guys out there looking for cheap cartridges both genuine and compatibles for most printers. Even the Epson 5200 is catered for.
Use this link and have a look. I have used his cartridges and paper for some time now. He is reliable and money back if problems. I don't know any one who has had any trouble with any cartridges he supplies. He is in Yorkshire and all details on website

Just had a quick look - prices seem very good (for my old Epson 400 anyway!).

Couldn't easily find on the site whether P&P is free?

They charge for delivery dependant on the size of your order (the bigger the order, the more the cost of delivery)

eg. a single cart is 99p delivery, 4 pairs is £5.99.

I think you'll find cheaper! (Plenty of suppliers mentioned on this thread don't charge any p+p).

With Epsons, their warning systems for empty cartridges seems based on number of pages printed, rather than measuring how much ink remains.

Smartass - thanks for this tip.

I'll try this on my Epson 400. I've tried and holding down the paper advance button lets you get to the cartridges. Do you get much more use of of the cartridges after doing this? I'll try it next time on runs out.

Just replace my black & colour last week. Colour ink light was flashing - printed out a load of pages with black only and then colour light came on constant - though this was a bit odd. I wonder why Epson do it this way ???

Yes, usually quite a lot more pages get printed - certainly it's worth doing.

The only downside is when printing a number of copies - if the ink runs out during the print run, then the printer carries on, meaning that you can end up with some waste paper!
I wonder why Epson do it this way

Same reason they try to persuade you that using anything other than an Epson cartridge will damage the printer!!
