Well i`ve been increasingly synical and mistrusting of anything and anyone to do with the `Tonight` program. It seems that since it began a few years ago it has only had Businesses, organisations, or individuals as it`s subject. It never investigates the government. . unlike `Dispatches, Panorama and the old `World in Action`. :rolleyes:

The site can make money by people using comparison sites such as, amongst others, uswitch.

Sure, individuals can save by using uswitch. Moreso by using sites like quidco. Overall, as with most money saving ideas, someone has to pay. With bank charges it is people like me who don't pay charges. With energy, it is those who like me, cannot be bothered to switch just to save a few pounds or those who do not understand the nonsense of privatised energy suppliers. Those grannies without PCs are highly unlikely to use uswitch even if it can be accessed by telephone.

Absolutely and Martin and MSE have never made any secret of how the site makes money, which I might add pays for these very forums you are accessing for nothing, runs the main website which many more people read, provides the servers to send out 2 million emails a week and last but not least donates a huge amount of money to charity.
