I miss him so much and can't understand why he'd do this to me.

    Hiya Mupeteer,

Sorry to hear about your rubbishy day :( This whole process is gonna take time and some days will seem ok and others rubbishy and then all of a sudden, it will hit you that you have had more ok days than rubbishy ones and you will slowly start to get your life back on track. I really sympathise with regards to making your home yours, it is mega hard especially when we are all so skint too, but you will get there. Getting a diggy friend is a fab idea, she is gorgeous, bet you can't wait to have her and you will be able to get out and about a bit when taking her for nice long walks! I have always liked the idea of getting a dog, I have a cat but he is more like the size of a tiger cub! It's nice as pets can be affectionate which is good when you are feeling a bit low. And it also means that you are not alone in the house too as always have the little pooch about! Big hugs hun, you will get through this xxx

I remember feeling that when my ex hurt me...and now I feel that you can't spend time thinking about why they do it...it is very hard I know, but they are just horrible people who are not worth your tears or even worth your energy and there is someone out there who deserves you and will treat you properly and one day you will find that special person...that's what I believe anyhooos. You don't deserve to be treated badly by anyone :grouphug:you only deserve the best and someone who will appreciate you for the amazing person you are and will love you like you deserve to be loved...

Sorry if I have just rambled on!

    Hi Mupeteer

I can see you're not online at the moment, but really wanted to send some hugs and good vibes your way. Sorry you are feeling so low at the moment. You have had some lovely replies from people on here (as usual) so please take their advice.

I always find a long, hot bath with plenty of bubbles is wonderfully calming. Have you ever tried Bachs Rescue Remedy - not a magic potion, but it does take the edge off your worries - I swear by it.

Let us know how you're doing when you feel up to it. Like the name 'Lucy' for your dog BTW. Try standing at your back door and shouting each name in manner of calling dog in woods and that might help you decide too.

Well, it's been a total waste of a day. So much for me doing something productive when my laptop died - in the end I went and got the cable and have been playing sudoku online ever since. The only useful thing I've done is enter my meter readings for my gas and electricity switch.
And I'm still in bed. I am such a lazy waste of space today.

Don't worry about taking it easy today - it is obviously what your body needs at the moment. When you are recovering emotionally, the physical becomes less important and your body is just saying "let me just do one thing at a time".

Don't beat yourself up over it. This will take time and you must be gentle with yourself in order to get through this.
