Yet paying the debt back I'm in a much better situation than you dalip, taking the easy option didn't work for you and now your DH is going to end up the same way. Perhaps if you took some of that fight and put it into sorting out your life you'd find a way out of your situation.
Life isn't easy especialy when people can't face the truth of a situation.

Sorry BH You gotta do what you gotta do.When your backs against the wall you have to do what you need to survive & live to fight another day.It's a bit like robbing Peter to pay Paul but the stakes are higher and to be honest you don't have much choice.

If the rules allow it then who am I to argue it just seems a bit strange. I guess in a way DH has done it although I'm paying it back he had no idea/intention on figuring out how to pay it back. Yes I did scream blue murder at him.

YOU see BH that is where you are wrong. My OH is not going to go the same way,,because i will not allow it. We will pay his debts plus interest:p

For your info BH there are a lot of circumstances that surround my bc of which nobody other than my family know about. I do not need to justify myself to you to anybody on this forum. You are a very bitter person and please feel free to continue your onslaught via PM i am more than willing believe me:D . I just do not feel you are worthy of this forum and the sooner you are banned/stopped from posting the better. I put my fight (as you so quaintly put it) into helping others on this site.

Can i ask BH do you work? Just interested in your actual goal in life apart from paying your debt back!!!!

BH i never lost the fight for others just for myself,temp and i have the others on my thread to thank for that. How come you never answered my question ? Have you had your fun for the day?,fished and caught a fish?, Shame the only spark you show is in putting other down.I really feel so sorry for you girl,you need so much help,but your attitude is really beyond my simple caring mind.:p

I'm so glad you can pay off your debts, you're lucky you can. But you shouldn't put others down who can't!

Dalip helped me alot during some of my darkest hours during my br, she probably doesn't realised how much she helped but she's been great! I take offence at you hurting her like this, you can see she's upset and she's had a hard day, why don't you just leave her alone!

It's a shame that people like you who live in their little credit obsessed bubble look down on people who are less fortunate. Most of us are here due to circumstances, you're lucky you're not in the same situation. If your not here to help people why are you here? What kicks can you get out of hurting people when they're down?

I really don't understand some people.

P.S. Oh and as for calling it an easy option, it was anything but!!!!!! it's been an absolute nightmare, just saying this shows you haven't got a clue!

I find your continuing arrogance is expressed through a complete lack of REAL empathy for anyone facing bankructcy. I too wonder - why do you venture over here?

On this occasion however you have surpassed yourself & feel that to berate Dalip as you have done here is totally out of order on your part.

Perhaps , as Dalip has said, you return to DFW & lets hope that you don`t find yourself tipped over the edge by any numbers of circumstances , often outside your control, that lead to the heartbreak that bankruptcy entails.

I have been where you are & I am here now....you may need that support one day!!.

Im really starting to get fond of you BH:o ,

I am fighting 6 creditors at the moment for my OH, so far I have 5 out of six unable to prove the debt under the cca regs.

At the present moment we can’t pay any realistic amount even if they agreed to freeze interest etc which they haven’t yet.:rolleyes:

If I win and they can’t enforce the debt it will be paid back, but under my terms not there’s.:p

And that’s where our view differs, my debt I wouldn’t live long enough to pay back as you know, so I gave in call me weak you know I don’t care.

But my OH only owes 8k, if they are patient they will get at least the best part of it, but as you know patience isn’t there strong point.

The irony is I went BR to end all this yet a year and a bit later im fighting the same fight albeit not for me but as we class ourselves as an item you could argue I am.

I wont say I feel sorry for you as that sound condescending but if I cant beat my OH,s creditors into being sensible and patient I wont hesitate to fill out her BR papers.

I know this isn’t an option for you but at least accept I tried this time to avoid it, ten months so far in fact, and I aint done yet.:mad:

This time round I will be able to say it’s the creditors fault for not being sensible and I really did try to force them too be, but I won’t let them harass us any more.:cool:

Please read this as its meant not as an attack but an example that your view would be simple if the bl00dy creditors would stop being prats

Ps boy have they got worse since we first had to deal with them:eek: , believe me if there leaving you alone its only cos im keeping them busy:D :rotfl:

Gosh Bat ...you are sooo right about the creditors being less patient than they used to be ( & I work for a major financial house).

After 25yrs+ as a customer I miss one payment (YES JUST ONE !!!!) & they send my balance to a DCA!!! - says something does`nt it about the state of the credit card world!!

Anyone reading this & thinking - `when am I going to hit that brick wall`....believe me it is just ONE MONTH!!!

If this post makes no sense I apologise...just needed to get it out there!!
