Hi mirry,
Your plants should start to flower and produce some fruit soon. I spent ages coaxing along two small courgettes and then last weekend pulled back the leaves to feed the plant and found an enormous one hiding that somehow I'd missed! :j My other plant was sown later and is only beginning to produce flowers now.
wallbash, have a look at this thread on the Old Style board for ideas that will help use up courgettes.

I had one courgette from mine at the beginning of June but have had none since until today when I'd thought I'd go up the garden and check on them after this weekends down pour and two more have appeared :j
I use mine in stir fry's, casseroles, etc.
I expect you'll have some pretty soon0 -
I made stirfry with mine last year, great for bulking it out and doesn't taste too much of anything!

I hide mine in bolognese, cottage pie, and muffins!
I may well get some if my plants ever decide to do anything too. Jamie oliver showed how to dip the flowers in a light batter and then fry them so you can eat the flowers too. What I didn't pick up was whether or not picking the flower would stop the fruit or whether he got the flower as it was ready to fall off. Having never seen courgettes growing I don't know if they drop their flowers like tomatoes do?
I got a big surprise from mine the other day when I spiked my finger on it- I didn't know they were prickly.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
If you have flowers and they fall off leaving no fruit look for slugs and snails. Go out late evening the pick them off. Our long courgettes are producing but the round ones have a way to go.0

I have so many growing they are turning into marrows. I am eating them as much as I can and giving some away but they just keep coming. I grew four plants from seed but another year I will manage with two.:cool:0

I am expecting LOTS of courgettes later in July, I have 9 plants! 3 varieties.
I use them for supplying bulk(+garlic) to meals as OH does not like onions. It is surprising how many things you can do with a fairly flavourless veg, courgettes tend to soak up other flavours like a sponge, great in curries!0 -
We ate our first courgette last night and have another one that will be ready very soon. Hopefully all the rain will encourage growth in your plant, Mirry.0
