I tried eggshells last year....they ended up all over the bloomin' place :)

    Oatmeal?? Why/how does that work?

    Hello,

First time courgette grower here! Sorry to hijack the thread but can anyone give me a quick bit of advice about my courgettes? They were growing quite happliy on the south-facing kitchen window sill and have two pairs of true leaves, but the leaves are becoming damaged - sort of reddish and scaly, almost transparent in places. Any ideas? They are a climbing variety, Black Forest I think.

    Thanks all!

  • I have been eating courgettes for a couple of weeks now - have learn't my lesson from last year and am picking them regularly so the plant produces more fruit rather than a few marrow size ones.
