If you don't bring your @rse to London and go to that interview I will never post on your threads again
The way this is going you have NOTHING to lose. Would you have a little time to do something for you after the interview? The London Eye isn't far from Albert Embankment.
Make it a day out that happens to include an interview for what could be your dream job. And if you get it, then decide what you want to do about it,
If you don't get it then at least you had a day out in London0 -
Yes - seriously the jobcentre will pay for interview clothes. You have to ask, I think you can claim up to £100 or you maybe lucky and get more. If they can give me £520 to do a course then I am sure they can give you £100 to buy a suit.0

Thank you michilin - it is on Thursday at 2:00 (I think  - the time isn't confirmed in the email but I quite simply canNOT be ringing to check; how good a PA would I seem to be then hm?).Blonde: Unemployed: Bankrupt.

Goodness!
Do I dare try a call tomorrow then do you think? (Rhetorical, no need to answer 'cos you actually have already...)

Quite right tinkerbell - and once I had pulled myself together this morning and after my visit to the Jobcentre, I told myself exactly that.
The next challenge I have is to not get up with the same negative attitude tomorrow though.
The London Eye, now there's a thought; will I look a bit of a fool if I go on it by myself?

If you called you would seem a fab PA; I always call to check my appt times. Even if I made them the day before, I'll call on the way to confirm the time with the person. Probably why I don't have a PA myself anymore!!!
Plus - you have to go.
I need you to get the job in London, to move down there or commute, to go and have lunch with Tinkerbell, to invite me and her to your house warming so I can finally meet the most patient woman ever [see SP threads].
See??? It's all circular.0 -

Nope, just look all dreamy and pensive and enjoy the ride.0 -

not at all
might be hoards of tourists queued up. i think you'd enjoy it - you'll be able to see for miles (if the weather is okay!) and see how much possibility lies before you
or do a river cruise. there's lots of things close to Albert Embankment.
there's a very swanky new hotel next to waterloo station that you could go to for a cheeky drink after your interview. then over the bridge to the London Eye. if it's packed, you could just walk along the South Bank then onto waterloo bridge. the view left and right from the middle of the bridge is magic
keep going and there's covent garden - with street performers and lovely shops to browse in.
might make London a little less scary for you if you spend some time drinking it in0 -
Zazen - who's the most patient woman ever?
