Yes, this happened in the Wimbledon store too. In a way it's better as you can put them straight in the freezer. The other ones, which they had in the Sutton branch, didn't say you could freeze them, just to keep them refrigerated, which makes me think they have already been stored frozen which would make it dangerous healthwise to re-freeze them.

i think they just missed that of the label, probably in a rush to get them produced at the last minute, i can confirm the fresh ones are fresh, never been frozen before, so are quite safe to freeze at home, we have with ourws

I totally agree about the spuds not worth the money all they have done is halve the bags . today i picked up 2 bags of organic new pots from morrisons for £1.00 each and they were twice the size of the 50p bags
    IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:

:TJust been to our local Morrisons in Keighley and they had no peppered stakes left (but we don't like those anyway) and no burgers, but they had very kindly exchanged the Morrisons own thick sausages (which we quite like) for yummy Richmond Irish Sausages!

Well, as luck would have it, Wednesday Nights are food shopping night and Morrisons is always the first port of call.... I have added the '8' to the bottom of my shopping list to have a look at.

    Thanks for the info guys.

    :-D
Good idea writing it down, I saw the big board advertising this lot, but by the time I was half way round I'd forgotten what was on it :o
The bag of spuds is rubbish though, only just bigger than the palm of your hand.
Watch the toms too, there are four for 50p but the vine-ripened ones are on IMO a better offer.

Great offers, yes the potatoes are a small bag but no waste & all the children like them. Only managed to get the peppered steaks to go with them all other offers were presumably sold out (oh except the bread rolls which we unfortunately have tried before at full price & threw away because they weren't very nice).
Does anyone know what day the offers start on? Hubby always does the shopping on a saturday but I might be able to nip in midweek. Thanks

We got 220g of diced chicken breast in Morrisons yesterday for 50p, this was next to the special offer drumsticks/thighs.
