The spuds in Morriosn's aren't worth the 50p they are the smallest bag of spuds you can buy:/

Would agree, our local Morrison's had sold out of everything at 11:00 this morning bar the Spuds & Bread Rolls. Got 2 packs of bread rolls though as we use them for the kids packed lunches.

Yep but you don't peel them so there is no waste.

I cooked some last night, lovely with a large dollop of melted butter on.

Dident see any off this when I went to Morrisons? So not publicising it.

Paid 69p for 6 x large english salad toms, which was a price I was very happy with!

Asda were doing this promotion about 2 weeks ago!

the offer is most definetly on, there are signs all over our store, they have even put hanging boards from the ceiling saying 50p over where each of the 8 products are sold from, and there has just been an advert on itv with nick hancock in it, advertising this offer, maybe you where just unlucky and the store you went into was sold out when you went in

i will be debt free, i will
  • Thanks for the info op. I went yesterday and got everything except the chicken which was sold out. I might go back for that. I agree the potatoes are a small bag but they did 4 of us for dinner. No waste and very nice. I also noticed and bought the bread flour while I was there 49p much cheaper than sainsburys which was £1.29 last week, though I see it has gone back to 89p now.

just to let everybody know, our store could not get hold of any of the fresh 4pk quarter pounders to sell, so where sent in frozen quarter pounders to sell for 50p, i presume this may be the case in other stores, and when i find out what the list of 8 items is for next week, i will edit my original post with the items, HTH Dave

Yes, this happened in the Wimbledon store too. In a way it's better as you can put them straight in the freezer. The other ones, which they had in the Sutton branch, didn't say you could freeze them, just to keep them refrigerated, which makes me think they have already been stored frozen which would make it dangerous healthwise to re-freeze them.
I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!
