Morning all. :hello:
Not caught up on the thread properly but hugs for all.
The weather is awful here today for DD's school trip  Its to Walton Hall & Gardens so I've just looked up the weather for there and its light rain all day. DD is most put out as she's been looking forward to it. Making her go to school in her wellies, with her shoes in a carrierbag. I'm pretty sure they're not going to be stupid enough to take the kids to a country park when the forecast is rain all day....but I could be wrong!!
Took her to the park yesterday and got caught in some really heavy downpours, and on our way home it was a thunderstorm - got home soaked through to the underwear even with waterproof coats on! Hung them up on the maiden and DD's is still slightly damp but wearable but mine is still wet so it looks like a jacket & brolley day for me and the possibility of putting the fire on to get it dry  Right, best make a move. Need to find £2 spending money and a moneybag for DD .... :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all
Right I am going to attempt this malarky again this week...trouble is I get so involved in reading the thread it leaves me little time to flyI will be doing a little at a time as I am 38 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old so it'll be little and often for me. I have to wait in as a bloke is coming round to fit a new windscreen after ours acquired a big crack last week!!
I think I will be deleting from the list as it seems like I've achieved more rather than deleting. I like to see the list get shorter.
Right to begin:
Mad Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
Air the duvet
Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
clean all the upstairs door frames
Clean windows in these rooms
my list
Write cheque for ground rent
post letters
Write thank you leters from ds
clear toys in conservatory
order dhs prescription
Think that is probaably it for now, no doubt my list will grow as the day goes on!! I don't know how it happens.

Morning all
Going to go back and read later otherwise I'll never get started.
One load of washing hung upstairs.
I'm going to do the kitchen today, I prefer to stick to the old routine (I'm bad at change).
Going to take the dog out first while it's stopped raining for five minutes and then I'll get going. Back later0 -

Morning all
Realy heavy showers here this morning - I got soaked on my way back from the school run. Decided to detour to the post office and corner shop as I was already soaked so at least that is one chore done.
Planning on half hour bursts today and really want to get loads done.
G&B hugs for you and the LO for today and tomorrow - you are both really brave
Welcome sammiell and daphne~sparkle and good luck to you both
Denise - hope your water bed has not frozen with it being -3The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Thanks Dusty, she's the brave one though, i'm just there to hold her hand. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I was wrong they are taking them as the forecast apparently is "showers" I think I'll leave the washing and drying my coat off until she gets home so I can deal with her stuff.
Just finished my cuppa and checking stuff on the 'net so now I'm going to put last nights dishes away and spend an hour or so studying - mobile going on silent again:wave:

Morning - sun is shining here at the moment but big black clouds are looming in the distance. Managed the school run in the dry.
My list for today:
Flush the ice maker in the fridge through - our water is now ok
Make bread
Fill out forms to send money to USA
Avon order
Empty DW
Hang washing out
Clean out hamsters
Clean out fish
Sort out my bank account
Buy loaf tin
Pick fruit
Plant seeds
Move kitchen trolley into understairs cupboard
Then I'll make a start on the bedroom and landing
Do not let me forget to go to the pain clinic - must leave at 3pm so give me a kick.
