Michelle I have a bit of a tooth that smashed left in and root left in, the dentist said he thought the skin would heal over but it didn't, he did say the only other option would be surgery which I didn't fancy, it feels weird but causes no problems so far (over a year later) Big hugs your way, hope the pain goes soon.
g&b pleased to hear little one is ok, give her a hug from all of us x
mumofjusttwo, with regards to the sleep over, little girls (I remember them well) don't tend to do much sleeping at sleepovers. Maybe have a word with the hosts parents about it, if she's 'sleeping' in a seperate area there may be somewhere she could get changed in and out of bed clothes privately then PJ pants might be an idea. I think it'd be best speaking to the GP about it just incase, put your mind at rest more than anything. We're actually on working with DS2 getting him to hold it more often rather than encouraging him, because he needs to increase his bladder capacity
hex if I could afford it the weeks we're not away my boys would be in a summer school! They thrive on routine, they get other people to play with (instead of wanting to kill each other)
Bother, forgot what I was going to say now, well tell you what, hugs all round (hope little tinselfairy and ifits are ok) I'm going in the shower now, been helping DP at the club as usual carrying stuff around and I feel filthy, helps me cool down aswell before bed, been raining but still VERY warm and I HATE being too warm at night. So godnight from me, hopefully catch up with you all tomorrowOne day I might be more organised...........

Evening peeps
Been AWOL again but not totally abandoned flying, just not keeping to the list.
Have seen only a couple of pages of the thread as it grows way too fast and managed a quick look in while I was at work.
To shell and your family a massive hug for what must have been a tragic shock and a terrible loss to you all.
To those with little ones in surgery big hugs and fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, I think it was GnB, ifits and sorry cant remember the other one.
To michelle parrots for the tooth and something horrible for the dentist !!! butcher who appears to be totally off his trolley
A hug for Dusty as I think you were struggling with whether to fly or not to fly yesterday.
For pigpen the tel numbers of the BBC and Channel 4 as I am sure they could make a better soap out of your family goings on than they do at present.
To everyone else especially the longer term ladies a big hug and hello and a special thank you for always being there for us.
Am managing to keep the house reasonable on the surface so I consider that to be an achievement in itself with working FT and still attempting to keep putting home cooked food on the tablem rather than junk.
RIght need to go and finish making packed lunches for tomorrow and ice the cakes I have made this evening which need to go in the lunches
Love to all
take care

Tea brewed, kitchen tidied and 2 kids in bed (1 reading but hey he is in bed).
Forgot to tell you of a couple of proud mum moments today.
DS1 has been selected to do DofE which will be great for him and as he wants to train to be a referee this autumn he can tie that in with the sport part of it.
DS2 went to the tennis courts with 2 friends on his bike. He was asked to be home at 6:00. He turned up at 6:30 and said sorry I'm late Mum but my friend fell off his bike. His friend was quite badly hurt but wanted to cycle home. DS(12) said no way and made him call his parents to come and get him and stayed with him until they got there. He said I'd rather have been in trouble for being late than leave my friend.
Right off to bed in a minute - just dashed to the station to pick up DS1 and OH.
EDIT: started post at nine but didn't submit till late - DS2 was not still reading at past elevenThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

DS3 really wants this toy which I will try to describe. It is blocks of wood held together by ribbon and you hold the top one and it looks like the others cascade down. Does anybody know what I'm talking about and if so what it is called or where you have seen them for sale - they are sort of stocking filler things - I'll try hawkins bizarre.
I think its a jacobs ladder.
And well done to your boys.
Off to sort the cakes then bed, aim is to be in bed by midnight as up again at 6!Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

evening or should that be morning,. I must get to bed. Going to regret staying up so late in the morning
Have been MIA last couple of weeks as my childminder was on hols so me and DH have been juggling work and childcare and its all gone a bit pete tong. The house was in disarray but is a lot better now. I've done very little actual housework but have managed to clear up a load of clutter from the spare room. Am now down to 1 bag of charity shoes, 1 bag of charit clothes, 2 pairs boys shoes to give to my friend and a bag of moses basket sheets to go up in the loft (no idea why as I wont be needing them again LOL).
I freecycled all my maternity clothes, a lovelyt lady colected them tonight and gave me a box of chocolates by way of thanks which was v sweet of her.
I had a mad splurge in Debenhams on the weekend. I booked myself in for a personal shopping session which was fab. Free service and no obligation to buy but I was desperate to be rid of the matrnity gear which was doing nothing for me but I am still not in my old clothes yet. But who cares as I now have a new wardrobe to choose from :j Got tops and trousers and a new pair black wedges - they are lovely. Hadnt bought anything nice in such a long time, it was great.
Thats it from me. Will try and do a bit tomorrow, but its DD sports day and I have work which I have to escae from for sports day for a bit, so not sure what will happen tomorrow

Morning all
Feeling better this morning. I think drinking gallons of water yesterday has helped to flush things through - the kidney pain has almost gone and I didn't have to get up in the night so I'm off to work.
Mind you, looking at the weather, I don't think I want to! It's absolutely pouring down here and looking at the rainfall radar, it's going to stay that way for hours! Must book my car in to get my rear windscreen wiper fixed. Might as well get it serviced and MOTted at the same time.
Have a good day ladiesI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning All.
RIght then let us see what I remember.
Dustykitten-Jacob ladder yes I remember them. Have made one too. So has my niece. They are great. We decorated them then added photos etc to them.
You must be so proud of your children. What a responsible little ladHas really made me smile this morning. Thank You.
Lil-me- thanks for the advice on my niece. thankfully (and quite stangely) she seems to be ok through the night it is only during the day she has problems. We do wonder if it is because she is so engrossed in what she is doing. HShe has to go to GOSH because of her illness and the have done test as (at the moment) everything is fine with her kidneys.
Soappie-glad you are feeling better today.
JillD- Well Done. The shopping spree sounded like fun.
Have a meeting with DS new school this morning. Have to say I am looking forward to it.January Grocery 11/3740
