    dustykitten - please stay. I enjoy your company! If you think flying is taking up too much time, then just set a time limit, and leave anything undone for another day. I'd far rather garden, and if it were dry and sunny today, then I would be out there, not doing the kitchen!

    sinderella - Absolutely agree with you about children being a huge achievement! My mum says the same.

    Don't worry I'm not going - just yet again trying to assess how to make flying work for me - I must hold the record for the different number of ways you can try!

    This weeks approach is to fly flat out - one day downstairs/ one day upstairs/one day OH office (my mess not his) and 2 days off to do other things.

    Thanks for your comments - I like all of you too much to jump ship.

    Right need to carry on until 2:00 and then I am doing 1 hour paperwork. Kids have dentist appointment after school and I want to pop to the sports shop re trainers/backpack as I will be in the next town which is much bigger than ours. Also Beavers tonight.

    See Dusty - it's official! We wouldn't let you go even if you wanted to so make sure you find a way to make flying work for you. How's about not bothering with any at all? {don't let pigpen read that}

    Serena - hugs to your DS - I don't envy him at all. Tell him the first two weeks were the worst for me. I got to a stage when I thought it would never start to feel better. After two weeks it didn't hurt as much and life got easier.

    gunsandbanjos I don’t mind talking about ds’s problems but how long have you got lol. He has hydrocephalus, epilepsy, chronic lung disease, a heart defect, low muscle tone, hearing loss, sight problems (due to his dodgy brain not his eyes) he is unable to eat so has a PEG in his tummy which he gets milk feeds through, skeletal deformity of the hands/wrists and wears afo splints as his feet turn right out and he stands an his ankle bone……plus other bits and bobs but I just sound really boring now lol and all because he couldn’t wait to get out as he was born 3 ½ months early.

    Hugs to those that need them and squishy hugs to the LO's having op's this week.

    Serena hope your DS can still enjoy the summer (how old is that one?)

    ifits hugest hugs to you. It seems so unfair that one child can have so many conditions

    Right done quite well do list update. Then I'm going to make some scones for kids to eat after the dentist so that they don't moan when I say we are going into town.
