Well, today I had a surprise! I logged on to my internet banking when I got up this morning knowing that today is payday and when the balance first came up, it seemed rather low! When I checked, I had not been paid by my new employer - that went in later - but I had £1500 from my old employer! I am discusiing my unpaid car allowance with them, but they said that they were only looking at it this week, and with them being a plc their payroll cut off date is about 19th of each month! I have transferred that amount to my savings and will sit and wait and see!

Just got back from seeing my gorgeous daughter for the 2nd time! She is cool! How's everyones day been??

Sounds like a good day for you then Tony, hoorah!!

I have had a very productive day, lots of sorting out paperwork and shredding etc. It has been on my to-do list for weeks, well since we all broke up for the summer holidays and we go back to work and school next week, so thought I had better get it done!!

Watching big brother and eating custard creams.......

But my DH and DS are watching footie, Aston Villa of all things...... so it's me in the conversatory with the portable, biscuits and coffee oh and my laptop of course......

good afternoon, how are we all today??

I got a pay advice yesterday that the £1500 from my old employer was my car allowance so that is one payment i have received back. It should have been £2700 less taxc and NI, but they had also taken my full quota of £600 CSA out too. Just as well I took your advice this week because if I had sent a cheque too, they would have got £1200. Anyway, the amount from my normal salary i had set aside for CSA, I have now transferred to savings so that I now have the full car allowance amount in my savings account.

I have now made direct payments to all my creditors and will inform the debt management company that I have done this. I feel so much better being in control of this.

Just waiting now for my HMRC tax refund cheque - arrrgggh!! and also the outcome of my personal injury claim. I spoke to the injury lawyers who advised that they have received my medical report back now,so hopefully i will see some reward from that!

How has everybody else been?

Hi Tony,
All sounding very promising your end, glad to hear it.

Are you still going to try and get the £600 a month reduced? That is a second mortgage!!!!

yes, other job for today is to send the variation form back! if i pay the arrears and dont do it, then i may never get that money back!
