Brockyman wrote:Dissapointed to discover that there was no DVD in my Telegraph when I checked. Only just opened the paper at 10.30, I was going to take it to bed to read. Too late to do anything about it now as the paper shop shuts at 10.00 p.m. on Sundays and it's doubtful they would have had any left anyway. I must learn to check them straight away in future.
Ian.
Sorry this is a late reply, haven't checked this thread for a while.
Have noticed that newspapers (all of them, I think) have a caption box - usually page 2 - providing a telephone number for those who did not receive a free dvd with their paper. Would imagine that must mean they're willing to send you out a copy.
Can't remember if it's an 0870 number though...some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Hmm, that sounds like fraud to me and I can't encourage that. Come on, a DVD for the price of the newspaper is pretty good really!0 -
I don't think JailhouseBabe was suggesting fraud -- simply providing info for anyone whose dvd/cd was missing from the paper!0
