Hmm, that sounds like fraud to me and I can't encourage that. Come on, a DVD for the price of the newspaper is pretty good really!
Definitely not fraud as I did buy the paper and there was no DVD inside. My fault as I should have checked earlier. I did have a glance through but couldn't find a number but I still have the paper so will have another look. Thanks.
    Ian.
  • Sorry guys, I should have read what you were saying more carefully. I thought you were suggesting that people peep inside the paper and make a note of the number without actually buying the paper which would of course be wrong and dishonest.

With The Independent and The Independent on Sunday print editions

Learn German in just six weeks with our free instant language course this weekend. Cut out the frills and boredom and concentrate on the essentials. Follow this best-selling six-week course and get the most out of your next holiday or business trip. Your German language CD is free with this Saturday's Independent print edition and the accompanying book is free with the Independent on Sunday print edition.

The Indenpendent have previously done this with French, Spanish and Italian. I bought them but not successfully used them. It's just nice to know that one day, when I've got time, I'll maybe learn a second language!!!

    Don't Look Now (1973) (IMdB 7.4) - The Observer
Directed by Nicolas Roeg, Starring Donald Sutherland & Julie Christie

    DontLookNow.jpg
John and Laura Baxter are living in Venice when they meet a pair of elderly sisters, one of whom claims to be psychic. She insists that she sees the spirit of the Baxters' daughter, who recently drowned. Laura is intrigued, but John resists the idea. He, however, seems to have his own psychic flashes, seeing their daughter walk the streets in her red cloak, as well as Laura and the sisters on a funeral gondola.

    Ooooooohhh! this still frightens me!!
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Somebody has handed me a DVD that came free with the Evening Standard on Wednesday 5 April. Contains three episodes of Six Feet Under. Only thing is you need unlock codes from the newspaper to view two of the episodes. Anybody have these codes?
    Thanks
