Apologies for the date mix up for Donnie Darko - it's on Sunday, not Saturday.
Sunday 19th February
Donnie Darko (IMDb 8.3) - The Times
The Director's Cut
During the presidential election of 1988, a teenager named Donnie Darko sleepwalks out of his house one night, and sees a giant, demonic-looking rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds. He returns home the next morning to find that a jet engine has crashed through his bedroom. As he tries to figure out why he survived and tries to deal with people in his town, like the school bully, his conservative health teacher, and a self-help guru, Frank continues to turn up in Donnie's mind, causing him to commit acts of vandalism and worse.

Clockwise (IMDb 6.7) - The News Of The World
Brian Stimpson (John Cleese) is the headmaster of a comprehensive (high) school in England. He sets himself, his staff and pupils very high standards. On the way to a conference at which he is to talk, all manner of disasters strike.

Donnie Darko, Kavanagh QC, The Essential Mozart cd1 are all in our NorthWest papers. Nothing in NOTW, so if you wanted Clockwise you should have got the paper last week!0

For those that already have Donnie Darko and are wondering if it's worth getting the Directors Cut, I found a page that lists the differences from the original. Please note: If you've not seen the film before then don't read it - just get the film as it's excellent!

I sometimes wonder if it is worth the bother of hunting down these free DVD's though. I bought the Wicker Man Directors cut from Virgin Megastore for £2.99 not long ago. Same with Donnie Darko, Music Zone have had it a couple of times now at £2.99. I bought yesterdays Times because someone said it was free on Sat  and then again today so that's £2.50 or so. That's only a saving of 50p although I suppose I have got a weeks worth of reading for free.

I've just been to my local Woolworths to buy the times (with free Donnie Darko DVD) and the paper is only £1.10 instead of £1.80 - double bargain!! It's not advertised as an offer but came up as £1.10 at the checkout.0
