Just to let you know what you may be in for....
My DS is 15yrs old and is a size 14 shoe  Can't buy anything in shops to fit him, all of his shoes have to be ordered online0 -
been to Clarks. They have a nice machine which measures kids feet... but a pair of shoes cost me £40!!!!
I might come back to Clarks to measure my kids feet again, but would probably buy shoes somewhere else next time.0 -
I remember being told off for scuffing my shoes as I walked and my mum always bought patent leather from Clarks - so she knew if I had been doing it while I was at school too!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0

People are always shocked at paying £40 for kids shoes, but they really are worth it. Last year my son said he didnt want Clarks, he is 10 and size 7 so we went to Brantano and bought some lace ups. They lasted 6 weeks and the sole started coming apart. So it was back to Clarks, which last all year for both my two. The sales are on now, so now is the best time to buy for September.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I buy my 2 shoes whenever I feel they need them. I get their feet measured regularly.
I make sure I buy good quality leather shoes.
Not convinced about Clarkes being worth the money - think it depends what sort/style of shoes you buy.
I've recently given in to pester power and brought my daughter a pair of Yotoy dolly shoes and the inside of the sole was breaking within a couple of weeks and they looked as though they had been through the wars - the same thing happened with my nieces pair.
However their boys shoes seem to go the distance as my son's have lasted a long time0 -
I buy them as and when they need shoes, depending on how their feet have grown or if they are worn out (what on earth do boys do with shoes?!!)
It wouldn't bother me if they are last seasons styles. They're just school shoes and as long as they are black, I'm not bothered what the style is.
same here !
they tend to have
a pair of school shoes
school trainers for PE / games
"nice" shoes / trainers for going out
a scruffy or cheap pair trainers for playing in
then some crocs / sandals for the "summer" !
not that i know what that is at the moment ! :rotfl:0
