I didn't know they did online until I looked at their website, I visit the foveran shop but they also have an edinburgh branch.
Not cheap but excellent, and at foveran they sell veg with muck on from the shed outside.0 -
First of all are they cheaper for fruit/veggies/eggs etc to buy direct?
Secondly can anyone recommend any good ones near Glasgow? I'm sure there must be some near Cumbernauld etc but google yielding a depressing lack of results.
Personal recommendations would be gratefully accepted,Feb GC £41.23/£90

There is a farmers market the 3rd sat in hamilton town centre at the top cross. There is a stall from overton farm, who are located on the clydevalley and sell their own veg. There are also other stalls which sell meat, cheese, bread, fish etc - it is quite interesting. I go to my local fruit shop for my fruit and veg - its cheaper than the supermarkets sometimes and you can buy the amounts you wish rather than the bagged amounts and buy my fresh eggs from the fish shop, which are locally sourced. hi,
does anyone know of any good farm shops in fife? preferably the east.
Muddy Boots is excellent apparrently - not registered organic (therefore it's cheaper) but all locally grown and to similar standards as organic.

Hi Just to let you know that there is now a regular producers market for the North Argyll area, including Oban. All the producers are farmers, bakers, craft workers, artists, etc all living and working in the area. It will be starting again from the 5th March 2009 and will be held every first and third Thursday of the month for the rest of the year. You can find more information here :- Lorn Market0
