Farm Shops?

  • http://www.farmshopping.com/ has a good area where you can search for Scottish farm stores.

For something a bit more local, you may find some good information at the Forth Valley food website at http://www.fvfl.org.uk/
I particularly like their local food directory brochure, lots of places worth visiting, hopefully within your range.

I tried the food boxes from Bellfield Organics for a while, http://www.bellfield-organics.com/, which were fine.
  • We use Blacketyside Farm just outside Leven when we are going up to Lower Largo :)
  • Thanx for your replies, I went to the last Dunfermline farmers market but was really dissapointed.
Maybe I was just unlucky the time I went, I'll give it another try
I'm only here for the banter

Does anyone know of reputable farmers selling produce direct to the public. I don't want a Farmer's Market (too dear), and the only farm shop I know is Mugdock Country Park and it's rubbish unless you want to buy "lifestyle" stuff.

I'm looking for reputable meat, poultry, dairy.

    Thanks in advance.

If you already live west coast, then you'll know about the occasional markets in Oban and down at Ardfern .... there's a Continental Market at the end of this week in Oban ...
