What have you given and received on freecycle?

Have given:
a big bag with all my "costume" jewellery from topshop/river island/acessories...etc as I seemed to just stop wearing it. About 50 old copies of vogue, elle, marie clare (not all the same issue of course!) underlay for laminate flooring, a delux ikea clothing rail, old CDs- or new ones that I ripped, and 2 of the big tesco bags full of fabrics for dressmaking, theres more but I cant remember everything.
Have taken:
an art easel, a big-bottomed TV and a lightbox (for traceing things, not for seasonal affected disorder or whatever its called).
I used to ask for a tailors dummy, but every time I ask, some other person spams with "can I please have a tailors dummy" just after I have posted, and does it repeatedly, think they are trying to get control over the boards so if anyone is looking to get rid of one, and types it in, her name will come up half a dozen times and there will not be any room for anyone else.
I think my freecycle (Greenwich and London) is quite good, people seem to have common sense and a degree of respect. But my frined lives in Bromley and the things people ask for on there is hilarious- its not just the "Wanted" statement that makes me laugh, its the fact the post is written in such a genuine way- like someone just has a spare sports car or plasma to hand over free because they asked for it! lol!0 -
I offered a really nice Ikea cabinet and 8 people (I gave each person one chance) never showed up to collect it. I ended up leaving it in the street and someone took it within 20 minutes!!
