We've given quite a bit since last summer, never asked for anything from it.

    Table and chairs
    Display cabinet
    Old bike
Loads of car parts, surprising that they went really ( old car )
    Steel work bench
    Some surplus tools.
    Lots of crockery, some glassware.
    Nest of tables.
    Old portable telly.

Need to declutter again now:o , so will be putting a lot more on there in the future. Had a lot of stuff after my grandparents that we just hoarded.

Though we do tend to take a fair amount of things like clothing etc to the PDSA and RSPCA charity shops as well.
    I wish you......
    A sunbeam to warm you,
    A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you.

I take hardly anything as I'm a group owner and don't want to attract complaints that I'm being shown favouritism. I have taken a guinea pig who was homeless at Christmas (I rescue them so couldn't possibly say no to him) and a couple of books.

I've given monitors, books, nappies, some vouchers, a charger, toys, clothes, all sorts of assorted junk.

    We've received so far

a bed for mr my son
2 rats - which were in a very small hamster cage when hubby went to collect them. Guy implied that they were quite young. 3 months down the line we now have only 1 as one of them died the other night.

We have given away a soda stream, a small espresso maker, pokemon toys, pokemon duvet covers, reptile driftwood, laminate flooring.

Did try to give away 3 sky boxes that we found lying about but nobody came to collect them

    Given:
    Tv
    computer
    table and chairs
    2 matching sofas
    fridge
    freezer
    washing machine
    bookcases
An apple tree; was a good 100 yr old but had to be felled last year as it was growing at 45 degrees and swinging around right next to the canal, but midday the next day someone had taken the lot for their wood burner.

    All in good working order.

That's off the top of my head. Plus loads of stationary and computer stuff [printers, scanner, skyboxes, fax m/c, leads etc].

    Recieved
    bookcases
    one dyson filter

I don't freecycle any more due to the mods taking my wanted ads off, saying I didn't live in the right area to be posting wanteds; although they didn't seem to mind when I was giving stuff away...

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic Name Dropper
    Given:
    Plants
    paving slabs
    fence posts
    Sky box
    Ntl box
    Stereo
    Hose
    Tool rack
    Phone & answerphone
(probably various other bits and bobs that I don't remember)

    Taken:
Lots of old bricks for the garden
    Horse manure
    Baby mobile
    Fabric bits
    Garden screening

I particularly love it for getting rid of heavy garden stuff like paving slabs - people always want them, and you get them out of your garden without any lifting and heaving. Although our local group can be problematic for perishable items like plants, sometimes messages take days to appear, by which time your plant is dead.

We gave away a sofa last year. We were given it by a friend when we bought our house, then when we'd had a chance to buy our own stuff we freecycled it. I've been put off asking for stuff down to attitudes like this:

    can u bring them to a place about a mile away at 4pm........its like oddly enough no. stupid time wasters should go and read -_-;

Sorry to single this post out, but there are many others like it on MSE (and indeed on this thread). I don't own a car, so I've got no way of collecting stuff. Yet I thought the point of Freecycle was basically that you're doing someone a favour by taking stuff off their hands. But I don't want someone with an attitude problem to call me a stupid time waster, so I've never asked for stuff.
