yip thats what I thought .
not saying that will be the same for everybody though, just passing on my experiance, when i applied i was fully expecting to go and have an interview, as i had read on the passport office website that is what would have happened, but pleasantly surprised that i did not have to have one, DaveTake every day as it comes!!0 -
my sister applied for her first passport 3 weeks ago, and just had an interview yesterday0

My friend has an interview booked for Thursay YAY! but we have no idea what happens next, how long after the interview does the passport then take

at the moment not every one does and I not 100 per cent sure on their criteria if in doubt call their help line on 0870 521 410 - just remember do not book any trips until you actually have the new passport in your hands.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

I had my interview on monday and the passport arrived on thursday. It took 3 weeks altogether from sending off the application form.0

Quick update and maybe it will help others also.
Credit where credit is due ips job done :beer:
Passport application was sent via post office check and send on 24th June, interview on the 10th July and passport arrived this afternoon 14th July!

Thats great. We only had renewals to do - three of them - and I was concerned but ours have all come back within 7 days of the Post Office check service being used.0
