Hi geminilady

Hopefully Tiff returns soon :T0 -
hi all,
I'm sorry ive not been around recently ... things have gone tits up - my LL is demanding a £55 late payment fee because my rent is late ... its not my fault at all but its very difficult to pin it on the bank.... I cant pay that as well as the rent so I am moving out without paying either ....

So do I. I shall post more later on it. I'm sure everyone will think i'm just being silly though.
Miss Right doesn't exist for me. Had my chance and it's gone.
I noticed you one of the people who went on holiday! Hope you had a good time!

Hi Miroslav,
You're right that getting angry puts you in the wrong in many peoples eyes.... I've got lots of experience of this with the uni and everything thats happened in the past year... I think you should put all what you feel into writing with actual examples etc to the person who arranges the placement and make sure to say things like "this is seriously affecting my health" in one way or another ... you need to create a paper trail to back you up.
If you dont mind you could post the letter here and we can give you hints, I've found the employment board to be very helpful in cases like this too.

Miro - do you think that letter writing would help you to get your point across? That gives you a chance to re-read it and make sure you are coming across as you want. You always come across well on hear, so perhaps play on your strengths and write?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Hi Jen
I could write it down, but would they take any notice?
I'll post my e-mail to my placement advisor on Monday (with important things such as names and departments changed) and please let me know where I went wrong.
English is not my first language, but I feel I am pretty okay in English.
Thanks0 -

I just think letter writing has little effect with these people. They like the on the spot power, but like I said to Jen, I shall post the e-mail I sent yesterday, here, and maybe I can be told where I have gone wrong?0 -
This was my e-mail, with important bits taken out/replaced
Firstly, I did not arrive at 'placement' today. I had a panic attack before I went and
as I need to put my health first, I did not go in.
I didn't overly enjoy 'department 1' and think that may have had something to do with it. I
can't put my finger on what it was exactly, but having forced myself in the past to do
things after a panic attack, and making myself worse, I thought it best to step away for
today. I don't know what tomorrow will be like, but I imagine it could be the same.
I enjoyed the 'department 2' on Thursday far more, and that was with a heavy head, so i'd
imagine i'd enjoy it alot more when fully alert. I felt that I learnt alot more about the
'placement', where things are and what levels are what etc etc and if possible, would like to
do the remainder of my work placement on 'department 2'. It's nothing against
'department 1' or the staff, I just preferred the 'department 2' alot more.
When I saw 'Placement organisation head of training' on Thursday morning, she said she would like to move me to Thursday
afternoons as they only have 1 person on the main part of 'department 2' at that time. This is fine, although Thursdays
are usually my counselling time. I do have a break for 2 weeks from that, so it's fine for
this Thursday and the following Thursday, but I am concerned of the clash for the time
afterwards. I may be able to postpone further counselling for the further 2 weeks
afterwards, but i'd need to find the balance between cancelling for work placement
reasons, which I assume is still quite flexible, and getting the 'treatment' I need.
She did not mention any time for Thursday to me, so will need to know this before
Thursday. I know the chap I worked with on Thursday morning finished at 12.30, so I am
only assuming here that maybe it will be 12.30-4.30.
If you could reply to this with your thoughts, via e-mail/telephone when you have a spare
moment, it would be appreciated.
I apologise if this makes your work harder, re-arranging etc, but I wish to make the most
of the few weeks I have and feel this would be better in 'department 2'.
Thanks0 -
Is Mablethorpe far? It's good to get away if you can. Hope you get that special someone soon, for you and the boys!
dont think someone special exists, everyone seems out for what they can get, what happened to goodold fashioned honesty and respect?
