    Heya lovely Katie.

I know hun. I value everyone's friendship here. It's like a safe haven for me. :)

Did you enjoy Holby on Tuesday? I got a bit emotional at the end when Abra was telling Kyla about Africa. I am so sensitive sometimes.

I hope you have a relaxing evening and a good time tomorrow. I'm watching Harley Street at the moment. :)

    Heya Shaz.

I just get so frustrated at myself. I've had mental health problems for 10 years now but I've never been this bad. I used to have so many friends and used to go out and just have fun. I used to go clubbing (okay, so I didn't like it that much as I hate the atmosphere of these places but it still got me out). I used to go to hunts.mind twice a week religiously and get involved. I used to be so different. Now, I just don't know who or what I am and I haven't been to hunts.mind in a couple of weeks because I don't feel like I'm wanted there anyway. Sometimes I don't know who my friends are. I haven't been in touch with a few people for a couple of months and I haven't had one text or email asking if I'm okay. It doesn't bother me but it would be nice, you know?

I feel like I'm going out of my mind. Sometimes I don't know if what I see and hear is real, or if it isn't. Kind of a bit like Abra in Holby, but not to that extent.

I think I will talk to my doctor but the last time I opened up I burst out crying, and that was very embarrassing. I usually do such a good at holding it in.

I just feel like a failure most of the time.

    xx
anni, you are not a failure hun, please never think that, and i think doctors are used to ill patients crying and there is no harm in that, i often end up crying, especially when describing some of my difficulties, some things are so hard to say out loud, but once they are said the first time, trust me, it does become easier.
in reality my friends are everybody on here, but i am hoping that one day i will also have friends in real life too, like the days bc (before children) lol.
tell the doctor, get it out into the open, go to mind again, try to get out as much as u possibly can, i am sure it will help in end. i have been told today that 1 in 4 people suffer from mental health problems, just people dont discuss it, so maybe there are people out there putting on a brave face and feel just like us?
    big hugs

    Morning everyone:grouphug:

    todays word is: telemark

    • noun (also telemark turn) a turn, performed on skis to which only the toe of each boot is fixed, with the outer ski advanced and the knee bent: [as modifier] telemark skiing.

    • verb [no obj., with adverbial] perform a telemark turn while skiing: they went telemarking silently through the trees.

    — origin early 20th cent.: named after Telemark, a district in Norway, where it originated.

QB - you have made me smile for the first time since wednesday. Thank you :).

Am going through a real crisis at the moment with DH - had to call police on wednseday evening and he has been admitted to hospital voluntarily - if he tries to discharge himself he will probably be sectioned. I have a lot of thinking to do because I have to keep myself and the rest of my family safe, and somehow also keep DH safe too. At the moment I can't see how I can reconcile everybodies needs.

So I probably won't be around for a couple of days, and if I am probably won't post too much as don't want to risk upsetting any of you guys either. Some of you already have enough to deal with without hearing about my problems dealing with DH.

    KL.
