    Hi
I have just gone back on citalopram and am struggling, I cant sleep, panic is bad.
I first had panic attacks after having labriythtus, was put on citalopram, had a horrible few weeks and then started to feel ok, was on them about 10 months came off with no problems about 18 months ago.
Over the last month I noticed I was becoming a bit panicky again and last week started crying again. Went to gp who thought best to go back on ad's and I was hoping as I had not let it get too far it wouldn't be as bad as last time.
So back on 20mg took one last night, within the hour I was terrible, felt like I wanted to run and run, I got no sleep, just couldnt keep still. Feel a bit better now but still a bit panicky and am waiting to call gp at 8am to go back and dicuss as I realy don'y want to go through the time I did last time with depression, at the mo I am functioning unlike last time and that scares me that it could get worse.
    Thanks for listening

morning susie, (((big hugs))), i personally think that the side effects of the ad's which only usually last a couple of weeks are far better than the worst of the depression, which you have suffered before, and which you may reach if you hadnt started them again.
hope the doctor is helpful, let us know how you get on
