Whoa, steady on - just trying to inject a bit of humour. Sorry if it didn't appear like that. I thought the use of smileys would make that clear.
I'll keep my distance if you prefer.0 -

Morning all,
Yesterday was a pig of a day - woke up really early but managed to get back to sleep - then we didnt wake up til 2 in the afternoon!!!!!!!!!! The long days from last week finally caught up with me I guess.
The shed roof is now replaced and felted (thank god) and its now just a matter of tidying up the garden ready for my mum to plant it whilst we are away.
Hope your OK anni, good to see you post last night.
Lets hope it stays dry today so that I can seal the edges of the roofing felt on the shed.
Have a good day everyone
hugs

Hi guys
I'm pssed off too:(
I tore my calf muscle on Friday night/Saturday morning, so spent afternoon in A&E and caught a cold on top. I was visiting my stepdad all last week, he's still in hospital as my mum will need more assistance when he gets home, so waiting on that.
Son drank too much on Thursday night and disturbed my mum. He's staying in more this week and househunting. He loves his new job.
The weather is horrid but at least not missing out. Still househunting and watching Big Brother and catch up on soaps. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I appear to have inadvertantly upset QB, so I'm not coming back, as I don't want a sour note to appear on this thread. Thanks to you lovely people for listening to me when I reached out, best of luck to you all. Cholly xx0

Morning all
I shall stick to my new resolution of not commenting on things that are none of my business. I hope it all sorts itself out.
I'm tired today. Got a phone call from a friend who relapsed at the weekend, and she didn't want to be alone, so I was with her for 11 hours. I'm not really a people person, and it was very emotionally draining. I have to remember: "I am responsible. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that: I am responsible." Although it was hard, it was rewarding, and I feel better for helping.
I am exhausted though!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
