Broadband Not working!!

VM do a service for people not within their cabled areas, it may be that the OP is still on copper and is getting http://www.virgin.net/allyours/digitaltv/ ?

So you can't use Tiscali (most would say that's a good thing!) and your only option for broadband is via your Virgin cable connection.

Yep as has been said unless you have a standard BT line installed you are now stuck with VM.

I have Virgin broadband (cable) and I am increasinigly happey with it.
I have phone via bt low user scheme though.

If I was in your position I would take phone TV and broadband from Virgin.
It is £30 the lot I believe. It would also stop Virgin bombarding me with junk
maiil reminding me of the deal, I must have had about 100 letters from them
repeating the same message.

My Dad has been trying to get shot of them for a year

I signe dup with them, then decided to cancel before the staqrt date as they never replied to any emails and sent me a wireless router which didnt work, so I emailed and wrote to them asking to cancel BEFORE the start date

I then went to talk talk. (Super so far, £16 49 a mth for phone line calls and broadband)
Then i got a bill from tiscali!!!

I have since written 2 more letters and emailed them and they just keep saying my account is still active!!!

Fortunately i cancelled the direct debit and I also kept photocopies of all letters, so when they eventually send a debt collector after me I shall produce it all and hopefully he will bill tiscali for messing about

Avoid tiscali like the plague!!
