Phone arrived about 10.30 this morning in a very small but security sealed box. Only ordered yesterday on standard delivery. No charger provided (no problem as mobile shop about 500 yards down the road), but phone in immaculate condition, screen and camera still has plastic film on.
My daughter will be well chuffed on her birthday next Wednesday! :j

The motorola V500 chargers use a different connector and won't work.

However...

If you've got a charger from anyone of these phones C333, C350, C550, C650, T180, T192, T2288, V220, V2288, it will work in a V220.

These chargers here are actually GENUINE motorola chargers (although it doesn't mention it on the website, they are genuine, and they have plenty left in stock (i've got inside info)) for the price of £4.99 with First class delivery Free;

Ditto - I'd say the phone is brand new. I also didn't pay for delivery - came the day after I ordered! Dead chuffed.

to be realistic, however helpful the person I spoke to was (25 minute call, and she spoke to other people 4 times...), there was no promise to support my suggestion, and I won't be very surprised if she gets no further internal response and doesn't call back

as it seems like nobody so far has a charger, I can't see much point in returning the phone and hoping - seems like a short track to a refund, and £20 isn't much worse than £15

Oh of course. I certainly won't be returning, but will source a charger as soon as I have the phone. But it can't hurt to try to work on O2

You may get a run on these [Motorola v220] chargers. ... and most of the feedback I've seen says people did not get the charger with it . So your Google ad came in handy. I hope you haven't sold them all already!

Didnt get any confirmation emails at all, just the Welcome to O2 one. Phoned CS this morning to see what was happening as I had a print off of the order no. and product details. The operator said it had been passed to DHL yesterday and I should expect delivery today. Must say the O2 website is not very user friendly though.

For anyone waiting try phoning 0800 005005 and they will speak to the correct department on your behalf.
