loopy_lou wrote:can somebody please tell me how you manage not to pay delivery charges by using vouchers? where are these vouchers? Also if you shop at tesco online can you use coupons? and can you also take advantage of the misprice policy? after reading what you all have to say on shopping i think i could really do some money saving in this area. who is better, asda or tesco? i am starting a nursing diploma after xmas, and need all the help i can get when i leave work thanks in advance for any advice
I only found about these recently, but apparently they have been on this website for some time. Since I found out I have had two weeks shopping delivered free!
Go to http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=92862&page=5&pp=10 and pick the appropriate discount code for your shop. There are ones for first time buyers, codes for electrical goods only, wines, and specific totals for your shopping, typically £50, £75 and £100. Buy in bulk to reach the total - it's well worth it for a fiver off.
Make sure that your shopping total reaches the value stated for the voucher code before you add on delivery and after taking off special offers, etc and make sure that your delivery date is within the expiry of the voucher code. Put the code into the payment page on the left hand side.
Enjoy :rotfl:
Edit: oooh, missed the bit about coupons. What you need to do is visit the Tesco site and register for electronic coupons rather than paper ones. They come in the post, just like the other ones, but with a code on which you enter in the area on the payment page.
To change your clubcard registration go to "My account" on Tesco.com, login and go to "Your clubcard details". You should them have an option to change to electronic vouchers. Good luck.0 -
