Today I got a chicken priced at £10.05! the choc pudding roast veg and a bottle of wine. This has to be my best one yet

Oooh, you beat me...I "only" got two £9.20-ish ones, bah.

Tip for chicken buyers...don't just look at the chickens on the offer shelves. Go round to the shelf where they keep the chickens normally and have a rummage there for the biggest ones. The chickens included in the Meal Deal will be stickered as such.

2posts on the menu with a few differences, which one is the accurate one.
The post above says 2 mains, can you pick 2 then?
Another post says no advertising, another says look out for it.
I am confused. I have never purchased these before.

Just been to get my lot :)

Got a whole chicken which was supposed to be £9.85 on it's own. Also got Roast Potatoes and the Chocolate Fudge Pudding thing which looks gorgeous. And of course, my Pinot Grigio.
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

Basically you choose 1 main course, 1 veg side dish, 1 dessert, 1 wine/juice.

I have just been and got a whopper of a chicken that should normally be almost £9, some ready to roast veg, chocolate fudge pud and a bottle of frascati. I have saved £10.53 on what the usual prices for these things are so quite a good deal really. :j

^^^That's what I'm going to do.... So we'll just be greedy together!!

I'm thinking a whole chicken, maybe mash as I never really buy potatoes and sticky toffee pudding yum!
Getting there... A deal at a time. :T

I got a chicken that was £10.03 too and saved £13 in total on a chicken, roasting veg, berry jelly and wine. The chicken is huge and will do a few meals for the two of us! :j

We always go for this offer when it appears. We live near Gerrards Cross (one of the most expensive places to live in the UK outside of London) and the M&S there always has a swarm of people around the Dine for £10 display.

The food is vastly superior to any other supermarket brand in my humble opinion and there is never any waste. Bravo to M&S for supporting us during the credit crunch.

PS Remember to bring your OWN carrier bags otherwise you will be charged!
