How does the 2 for £10 combine with the wine offer?

Can someone remind me please? As I'm on my hols at home I could do with some time off from cooking so may treat myself when I go shopping tomorrow. A few bottles of wine wouldn't go a miss!
The way it works is to buy 4 meals and a couple of extra bottles then you get the 25% off the 6 bottles and 10%
Buying 4 meals and 6 bottles works out a shade over £40 :T
It's not just about the money

Yey, I just got mine this lunchtime (FYI Malvern M&S).
Got one of the full sized chickens (top tip-look through all the ones that are there as there are different sizes/weights so I found the biggest one for my deal, a 1.5kg whopper!) a bag of spuds, the creme brulees and the rose (as there was no other vino options)- then to top my good mood (after finding the biggest chicken) I got ID'd at the till (I have been over 18 for nearly 10 years!!!:D ) oh how I laughed!

There were lots of options left for everyone else, except for the wine but I like rose so no biggy- so thought I'd share the love ;)

Thanks for this, especially the "look for the bigger chickens" tip. On the end shelves where my local M&S were displaying this offer they only had the £5-ish medium chickens but when I looked at the main chicken shelves, the large ones were stickered as part of the deal as well. So I got two £9 chickens as part of my two £10 offers. Plus the orange juice is in double 1 litre packs (got enough wine) and some of the puds and salads etc are big enough to feed at least three. Bargain! I'll go back on Monday and stock the freezer.

Hey Val, not seen ya in a while, hope you had a great time :)

Ok, so...I also went over to get some 'large' oakham chickens to go with my potatoes/trifle/rose combo and after reading your post this morning, picked up an 'extra large' oakham chicken as well.. £7.55 i think it was, but they no-way go through as part of the £10 deal!

The labled 'Large' size one did (£6.77) no probs but not the 'Extra large'. And by you stating you got them for £9 they must be 'frickin humongous size' as our largest 'Extra large' was just £7 odd, nowhere near £9.
God only knows how it classed as part of your £10 deal? I tried both manned and SS tills, both a definate no-no with anything over the 'large size'..

Do you have a different offer on in Scotland where 'XXL' Chickens are allowed? If not, your 'large' are waaay wrong in their pricing structure, either that, or i'm moving up there! :rotfl:

Anywho, mega happy with my choices, :j but this has baffled me and would really like to know if anyone else managed any other size than medium/large with their meal deal if you bought the whole Oakham chicken?

    Thanks guys

    xx

Really looking forward to dinner tonight! We were on holiday when this offer was around before and if we didn't have a full freezer and we weren't going away again next week I'd have been filling my boots with these!

Bought 2 £10 meals including wine plus 4 bottles of Dolphin chardonnay (£3.99) and used the 10% off wine coupon. Total cost was £27.57. 4 bottles of wine for £7.57. Just testing wine now and seems OK for under £2 a bottle.

Just to clarify...can I buy 2 lots of £10 meals in one transaction?
