Quick, grab weezl off the old style board - she will be happy to make a pie of it!

He's disappeared now, either consumed by another animal (we have foxes) or has crawled away to die.
In the meantime a spider the size of a dinner plate is currently occupying the bathroom. I'm going to have to stop wandering around in the dark to save electricity. There's cat sick and numerous animals to avoid. Suddenly I don't feel very environmentally friendly.0 -
I would have had it in a pie, there are several good looking pigeons in these ere parts ..i blame Hugh fearnely whittingstall personally..but i love him. x
If you are in the dark, then spiders are not a problem either..Must be good stuff in your house if they are growing that big.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hello Bob :hello:
Our pigeons are so fat & healthy we call them chicken-pigeons. But a pie would not be sensible, it could have consumption or something catching. Though if it were Yellow Fever, I'd be protectedas it is 10 days since my jab.
I may have exaggerated re the size of the spiderbut aren't they BIGGER in the dark?

Spiders always seem bigger in the dark, but they don't really bother me..the cat used to love catching them!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well I'm very soon to leave these shores
and a review of my challenge does not please me
- weight loss. Following Bob's technique of leaning/standing on one leg I can make the scales read one stone lower than they did back in June. But if I stand properly I have only achieved 50% of this target with 2 days to go.
- play-writing. A couple of scenes written. Some ideas for the remainder, but a bit of a block as to the outcome of an unwanted pregnancy - my Mum thinks my storyline is sick
:rotfl:
- Earning £1,000. I know there is more due in anyday now (come ON you MS companies
) but this one looks like a 70% achievement.
- Garden under control?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: This garden has fought back every inch of the way. I'd say a 40% success rate on this goal. However DS2 has agreed to mow the lawn in the next week, (but is still refusing to take back his supermarket trolley) and Popeye agrees that if the strimmer could just be persuaded to do it's job the garden would look more under control. The front garden looks OK
But I'll will think of some other goals for our next separation of 40 days (and 40 nights) because it has focused me, and passed the time.0 - weight loss. Saun I'll have 10 days with Popeye
, and be back at my desk on 29th.
I shall enjoy every minute.
I'm not beating myself up about failing my challenge. But I am mildly surprised, it was an achievable target and it didn't come off. I agree with Bob however, and am blaming the weather - I'd have walked to work more if it didn't keep raining, and exersize is somehow energizing, but slothfulness just drains - in my experience
So I may just give myself the same four goals with only 40 days next time :rotfl:
and I've started packing......:j0
